UNBOTTLE

Is your drinking worth a closer look?

Ten questions from the AUDIT, the alcohol screening test developed by the World Health Organization. It takes about two minutes.

One drink means one standard drink: a small can or bottle of beer, a small glass of wine or a single measure of spirits.

About this self-check

The questions come from the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT), developed by the World Health Organization and used by doctors around the world. Scores from 0 to 7 suggest lower risk, 8 to 15 increasing risk, 16 to 19 higher risk, and 20 or more possible dependence. It is a screening tool, not a diagnosis, and only a doctor can tell you what your result means for you.
